Tadblu, the manufacturer of this beautiful cremation remembrance jewelry, recommends that you use the remains container with the optional filling spoon. For those who prefer not to purchase the spoon, we have provided alternative filling instructions below the step-by-step instructions.
Step 1 - Opening your Jewelry: Unscrew the cap and place it aside in a safe location.
Step 2 - Filling your Jewelry: Using the small spoon, gently tap the ash into the urn. Be careful not to overfill. The keepsake should only be about 90% full. After filling, make sure that the opening and threads are free of cremains.
Step 3 - Apply sealant: We highly recommend that you permanently seal the barrel or jewel. Apply a small single drop of jewelry glue on the threads at the side of the barrel or jewel. Jewelry glue is available at hobby/craft stores and online.
Step 4 – Close your jewelry: Keeping the jewel or barrel upright, gently screw the cap onto the barrel or jewel. If there are any spills, gently remove them with a soft damp cloth.
Alternative filling directions: If you choose not to purchase the spoon, you can use a piece of paper to move the remains into the container. Take a small sheet of paper and fold it in half to create a crease. Carefully place a small amount of remains in the crease of the folded paper. Gently tap the paper to direct the remains into the remains compartment.
